Looking out for you

Safety tips

Finding a life partner should feel safe. Here's how we protect you — and how to protect yourself.

Your privacy is the default

Your email and phone number are never shown to anyone until you and a match both choose to connect. You decide when, and with whom, to share more.

Keep personal details private at first

Get to know someone through the app before sharing your home address, workplace, financial information, or anything that could identify exactly where you are. There's no rush.

Watch for red flags

Be cautious of anyone who pressures you, asks for money or gifts, refuses to talk by phone or video, or whose story doesn't add up. Genuine people understand the need to take things at a comfortable pace.

Meeting in person

When you're ready to meet, choose a public place, tell someone you trust where you'll be, and arrange your own transport. Trust your instincts — if something feels off, it's okay to leave.

Report concerns

If someone behaves inappropriately or makes you uncomfortable, report them and let us know. We review every report and take them seriously.
