Delete your account
You can delete your Trueproposals account at any time, from the app or the website. Here is how, and exactly what happens to your data.
Delete it yourself
- Individuals: sign in, open Profile, scroll to Delete account, and confirm.
- Agency owners and staff: sign in, open Agency profile (under More in the app), scroll to Delete account, and confirm.
You will be asked to type DELETE, and your current password if your account has one. Sign in to start.
Can't sign in?
Send us a request through the contact form using the email address on the account. We confirm it is yours and delete it within 30 days.
What is deleted, and when
- Immediately: you are signed out everywhere and the account can no longer sign in. Your email address and phone number are removed, your Google sign-in link is removed, and your profile disappears from every search and suggestion.
- Immediately: pending requests to agencies are withdrawn and open introductions are closed. An agency that represented you keeps only a closed record with your contact details, photos and profile text hidden.
- Within 30 days: your photos and all profile text are permanently erased. What remains is an anonymous record (“Deleted member”) so that other people’s introduction history stays consistent.
- Agency accounts: when an owner deletes their account, the agency is closed — its listing and published candidates disappear, every staff login stops working, and individuals it represented are released to choose another agency. The agency’s own roster records are kept, hidden, and are not visible to anyone.
Messages exchanged between agencies are kept as part of the other agency’s records. See the privacy policy for everything we hold and why.
